About Job

“We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to join our growing design and engineering team based in Karachi, Pakistan or on Hybrid / Remote Position.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in industrial or oil & gas projects, with a deep understanding of structural design principles, construction practices, and KSA/GCC engineering standards.

This position is based in Karachi but may involve travel to GCC countries to attend technical meetings, site visits, and project coordination sessions.”

Responsibilities

Perform and manage civil and structural design activities for industrial, oil & gas, and infrastructure projects.
Prepare and review design drawings, calculations, layouts, BOQs, and specifications in line with project requirements.
Ensure all designs comply with SABIC, ARAMCO, MARAFIQ, SEC, and NWC standards as well as international codes (ACI, AISC, BS, ASTM, ASCE, etc.).
Conduct structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures using recognized engineering software.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery.
Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and construction support when required.
Support proposal and tender preparation by providing technical inputs and cost estimation assistance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputed and accredited university (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure design.
Strong understanding of foundation, concrete, and steel structure design, including load analysis and design optimization.
Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills in English.
Knowledge of Arabic or other international languages is an added advantage.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
* Must well aware about SABIC, ARAMCO, SEC, MARAFIQ, Maaden and NWC engineering standards and best practices.

Job Specific Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of international standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, BS, ASTM, etc.) and GCC engineering practices.
Familiar with SABIC, ARAMCO, MARAFIQ, SEC, and NWC engineering specifications and workflows.
Proficient in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit, and related design and analysis tools.
* Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook, Power BI.
