About Job

We are looking for an Experienced Draftsman to join our Engineering Design Team in Karachi, Pakistan or on Hybrid / Remote Position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial design drafting, preferably within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Plant projects. The candidate must be proficient in CAD drafting tools, possess excellent coordination skills across multi-discipline teams, and be familiar with GCC industry standards and international codes.

Although based in Karachi, the position may require occasional travel to GCC countries for technical coordination or project-related support.

Responsibilities

Prepare and develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and 3D models for multidisciplinary projects (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Instrumentation).
Work closely with engineers to convert conceptual sketches and design data into precise engineering drawings.
Ensure that all drafting and documentation comply with SABIC, ARAMCO, MARAFIQ, SEC, and NWC standards.
Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and document management as per project requirements.
Coordinate and integrate designs among multiple disciplines to ensure consistency and technical accuracy.
Utilize and manage various CAD platforms, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and other relevant tools.
Support the design team during design reviews, as-built documentation, and field verification.
Apply international drafting standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI, BS, etc.) in all design outputs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Drafting Technology from a reputable institution.
7+ years of experience as a Draftsman in industrial design / oil & gas / EPC environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate across all disciplines.
Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic or other international languages will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline.
* Must well aware about SABIC, ARAMCO, SEC, MARAFIQ, Maaden and NWC engineering standards and best practices.

Job Specific Skills

Expertise in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), MicroStation, and other design/drafting software.
Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards, symbols, and practices.
Ability to interpret technical data, design calculations, and engineering specifications.
Familiarity with GCC engineering practices, especially related to SABIC, ARAMCO, MARAFIQ, SEC, and NWC projects.
* Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook, Power BI.
