About Job

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering design team in Karachi, Pakistan or on Hybrid / Remote Position.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in industrial or oil & gas design engineering, a strong understanding of Saudi and GCC engineering standards, and hands-on expertise with electrical design and analysis software.

This position is based in Karachi, but will include occasional travel to GCC countries for technical coordination and project support.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute electrical design and engineering tasks for industrial and oil & gas projects.
Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, cable sizing, lighting and earthing designs, and equipment specifications.
Ensure all designs comply with SABIC, ARAMCO, SEC, MARAFIQ, and NWC standards and applicable international codes (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, etc.).
Perform design calculations, equipment selection, and power system studies.
Develop and review drawings, technical documentation, and design deliverables.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and field/site coordination when required.
Support in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and technical evaluation for new projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed and accredited university (Master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in industrial / oil & gas / power sector electrical design and engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Knowledge of Arabic or other international languages is an added advantage.
Proven ability to manage multiple design tasks independently and within a team environment.

Job Specific Skills

Strong command of international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ISO, etc.) and GCC client-specific standards (SABIC, ARAMCO, MARAFIQ, SEC, NWC).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ETAP, EPLAN, Dialux, and relevant design tools.
Sound knowledge of power distribution, control systems, grounding, and protection coordination.

* Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook, Power BI.”
